Abstract:
A novel method for successive preparation of nano metal sols by pulsed laser ablation at the interface of solid and flowing-liquid is developed and nano-iron/ethanol sol is obtained by this method. TEM results show that the iron particles' sizes are mostly between 10 similar to 30 nm. It is found through FT-IR that the vibration of ethanol molecule groups in the sol is affected by the nano-iron particles. The UV-vis results show that there are one strong absorption peak at 237.82 nm and two medium absorption peaks at 272.93 nm and 308.43 nm. The effect of polyoxyethylene (10) lauryl ether (OP-10) on the disperse stability of nano-iron/ethanol sol is studied by UV-vis and TEM The results show that the best addition of OP-10 is 0. 10% and it can effectively stabilize the dispersity of the nano-iron/ ethanol sol.
