Abstract:
This paper reports the experimental research on creep of self-compacting concrete (SCC) with different mix proportions. The main factors considered in this study were water to binder ratio, binder to aggregate ratio, sand ratio and curing age. The comparative analysis between SCC and normal concrete(NC) in creep behaviors was conduct. The results of creep testing on 69 specimens indicate that the creep of SCC decreases with the increasing water to binder ratio and curing age; the raise of content of aggregate, especially coarse aggregate can obviously reduce the creep of harden SCC. Comparison between SC and NC shows that the creep rate of SCC investigated was greater than that of NC at early age but decreased with age.
