Abstract:
The PEEK composites with the special Characteristics have been used in the fields of chemistry, machine, and electricity and so on. The infiltration is the key to the properties of composites. The text discussed the mechanism of unite of the inorganic and the organic by the mechanical properties, and advanced the polyps-theory and core-felted theory of the infiltration. The composites in this condition are in the favorable properties. The coupling can improve the performance of composites, and the chemical bonds theory is testified. From the results of the experiments, the CaCO3 whisker treated with the coupling SPEEK affined with the polymer PEEK tightly, and well-distributed in the body. And the coupling makes the interface cohering better, and improves the composites performance. The tensile strength of the composites treated with the coupling is higher than the untreated. When the content of CaCO3 whisker is less than 20%, the tensile strength of the treated composites is higher than the pure polymer PEEK, and when the content is equal to 15%, the strength reaches the maximum. And the flexural modulus of composites increased with the higher content of the composites.
