Abstract:
In this paper the base conditions for realizing the clutch parametric and intelligent design are described and a clutch parametric and intelligent system is developed by using UG OPEN API and UG KF modules of UGNX software. The structure of Logical Definition Model (LDM) is established, and the part LDM and assembly LDM are established based on the established LDM structure. The LDM modeling method is used for completing clutch parametric design and knowledge fusion technology is used for knowledge based clutch intelligent design. During the intelligent design the representation of design knowledge are realized by UG KF modules, the knowledge reasoning is done by using GA, the knowledge acquisition is completed through the engineering database of clutch.
