Abstract:
The global economy is changing greatly in the early 21(st) century, and many conditions on which countries' economic polices are based are changed also. So China should modulate his strategy of foreign trade accordingly. On the other hand, the developing countries have accumulated many successful or unsuccessful cases on choosing their foreign trade strategies that we can use for reference. Based on the analysis of previous developing countries' gains and losses in their trade strategies, this paper summarizes some most successful strategies of foreign trade for the developing countries. Then, on account of China's economic traits, this paper probes into the principles that China uses to choose its foreign trade strategy. At last, this paper concludes what kinds of foreign trade strategies China should adopt today.
