Abstract:

Aiming at the problems of power loss caused by photovoltaic (PV) panels mismatch, and how to reduce conversion stage, number of current sensors, etc. A quasi-single-stage Flyback type distributed PV grid-connected inverter with parallel bus and CPU time-sharing maximum power output energy management control was proposed. Meanwhile, the circuit topology, maximum power output energy management control strategy and steady-state principle characteristic, such as operation modes and duty ratio expressions, were deeply investigated, important conclusions were obtained. The topology is consisted of a unidirectional Flyback converter with multi-input selected switches in series and an unfold bridge. By controlling the instantaneous grid-connected current and the output power ratios of multi-inputs, the strategy realizes energy management of multiple PV panels. The inverter takes only a current sensor and a control chip by using parallel bus and CPU time-sharing implementation. Designed and implemented 500W 27~39VDC/ 220V50HzAC prototype has excellent performances such as high PV utilization efficiency, high conversion efficiency, high quality of grid-connected current waveforms, strong low voltage ride through capability, low cost, etc. It is an efficient scheme for low power distributed PV inverters. © 2018 Chin.
