Abstract:
Aiming at the heterogeneous multi-attribute decision making, a variable weight decision making method was proposed based on regret theory. The scheme relative closeness and variable weight vector were obtained. The regret aversion of decision makers were considered, the initial weight was chosen as the reference point, and the variable weight vector was transformed into the decision matrix of regret values and rejoice values relative to the reference point. Furthermore, by considering the decision maker's different risk attitudes toward gains and losses, the comprehensive regret-rejoice values of each alternative was calculated based on regret theory. A ranking of alternatives was determined by the comprehensive regret-rejoice values. The effectiveness and rationality of the proposed approach were illustrated with an actual example. © 2017, Editorial Department of CIMS. All right reserved.
