Abstract:

Pb(Yb1/2Nb1/2)O3-Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3(PYZNT) ternary crystal with pure rhombohedral perovskite phase was grown firstly by the high-temperature flux method. The composition, dielectric, piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties of the crystals were studied. The actual chemical composition of the grown crystal is 0.68PYN-0.22PZN-0.1PT. The composition, dielectric, piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties of the crystal were studied, respectively. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss exhibit a relaxor behavior with respect to temperature and frequency. The Curie temperature TC of crystal is 80 . Because of high content of antiferroelectric PYN, the crystal shows a huge coercive field, which makes polarization reorientation could not be finished even under the external electric field as large as 100 kV/cm. Therefore, the saturated P-E loop could not be obtained. The piezoelectric coefficient d33 for the unpoled sample is measured to be 78 pC/N. ©, 2015, Chinese Ceramic Society. All right reserved.
