Abstract:
Second order cone programming (SOCP) method is introduced to derive the source location by relaxing the acoustic energy measurement model into convex optimization. The corresponding LS-SOCP and WLS-SOCP algorithm are proposed for acoustic energy-based source localization. Due to fewer variables and equality constraints, SOCP runs faster than semidefinite programming (SDP) algorithm for the same given model. The simulations show that the MSE performance degrades as the noise increases. The MSE of WLS-SOCP and LS-SOCP is reduced when the average energy is increased. The MSE performance of WLS-SOCP algorithm is better than that of the LS-SOCP by using the optimal weight. © 2015 by Binary Information Press.
