Abstract:

This paper has analyzed the problems in the current bridge durability design, explored the basic process of durability quantitative design, and established the limit state equation of durability based on various life span criteria. It has also summarized the research results of the performance degradation process of bridge members in the common atmosphere environment and provided practical examples to illustrate the process of bridge durability quantitative design. ©2014 CAFET-INNOVA TECHNICAL SOCIETY.
