Abstract:
As long-span cable-stayed bridge with multi-tower has complex mechanical characteristics, the seismic response is quite different when the lightweight composite girder is adopted. In this paper, Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is taken as background project and test mode of multi-tower cable-stayed bridge is designed. Based on shaking table test of Fuzhou University, the seismic response laws of long-span cable-stayed bridge under uniform excitation and non-uniform excitation were discussed respectively. The dynamic property identified from recorded data shows the longitudinal stiffness of middle towers is relatively small. Results of shaking table test show that the tower and girder with greater seismic response and wave propagation effects on seismic response can not be ignored.
