Abstract:
Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) filter was pre-treated with HNO3, H2SO4, HCl and NaOH. The effects of pre-treating on properties and selective catalytic reduction(SCR) catalytic activity of PPS filter were studied. Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FT-IR) shows that the surface of PPS filter only treated with HNO3 is oxidized dramatically. The results of differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry indicate that PPS filter treated with H2SO4, HCl and NaOH still has favorable thermal stability while the thermal stability of PPS filter treated with HNO3 decreases. The SCR catalytic activities of PPS filter were tested at lower temperature. The results show that the SCR catalytic activities of PPS filter treated with H2SO4, HCl and NaOH increase, while those of PPS filter treated with HNO3 decrease.
