Abstract:
TiO2/bamboo charcoal composites were prepared by sol-gel tachnique with tetrabuty tinanate as the titanium source, and 60 mesh bamboo charcoal as the support. The TiO2/bamboo catalysts were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDX. The photocatalytic degradation processes of Rhodamine B were studied. The results indicate that the composites sintered without oxgen at 500°C charactered have the anatase titanium dioxide of TiO2 and better photocatalytic ability in the UV light.
