Abstract:
With the benefits of reducing considerable cost, easy construction and producing plentiful forms with pleasing appearance, concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) arch bridges have been widely used in bridge engineering in China. Compared to the application in its first decade, great achievements in CFST arch bridges have been attained in span, construction technology, bridge types and structure detail since 2000. In order to provide information for practical use, some typical CFST arch bridges completed after 2000 are reviewed in this paper. Meanwhile, the state-of-art on theoretical research for CFST arch bridges is also briefly introduced.
