Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the hydration curve of self-compacting concrete (SCC), the closed form solutions for the integral equations about basic creep of viscoelastic parts of SCC are derived by using the exponential formulation to express the ″solidification degree″ of aging concrete. The theoretical formulas for predicting the basic creep of whole SCC from its composition and the properties of constituents are deduced. The model is calibrated by experimental data from creep and adiabatic temperature rise tests, and the results indicate that the model presented in this study can calculate the basic creep of SCC excellently.
