Abstract:
The meter-reading and monitoring terminal based on GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) technology for distribution transformer is designed, which applies a 32-bit ARM7 chip. Its hardware is divided into the system part and the peripheral part. The system part includes CPU, memory, RTC (Real-Time Clock) and reset circuit. The peripheral part is composed of RS-232/485 chip, GPRS module, infrared communication, switch state detection, temperature sensor with mono-wire bus. Its software is based on μC/OS-II embedded operating system, with multi-task and multi-buffer framework. The CPU/peripheral interfacing, operating system transplant, multi-functional watt-hour meter reading, temperature detection, GPRS communication and data transmission protocols are detailed. Its field operation is stable and reliable.
