Abstract:
The application of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) in degradation of Rhodamine B in the liquid-phase photoreaction, was analyzed. The structural details of PZT/TiO2 were investigated using a Tecnai F30 transmission electron microscope (TEM). The high-magnification TEM exhibits many different lattice fringes which allowed for identification of the crystallographic spacings of TiO2 and PZT. The results show that interaction between PZT and TiO2 contribute to the strong activity of PZT/TiO2 in the process of degradation of RhB.
