Abstract:
The fracture properties of RPC and fibre reinforced RPC are analyzed with Fictitious Crack Model (FCM) in combination with linear-elastic fracture mechanics. The results show that the crack propagation is controlled and the fracture parameters such as fracture toughness, pre-critical propagation length and CTODc are greatly influenced by fibre volume fraction in RPC. The paper presents the relationship between fracture parameters and the fibre volume fraction, and probes into its fracture failure mechanism.
