Abstract:
Hybrid Arch Bridge of Steel Tube and Concrete Filled Steel Tube is a new type of bridge which evolved based on the development of CFST arch bridge. In this type of bridge, concrete is only filled in the tube of spring but not in the crown of arch rib which will be benefit to decrease the self-weight and the position of barycenter. It is help to reduce the reaction of lateral earth shock and enhance the lateral stability. The problem that the concrete in crown of rib is not close-grained is also avoided. Shanqian bridge in Fujian Province is the first bridge designed by this concept. In this paper, this bridge is took as research target and its lateral mechanical Behavior is analyzed with the parameter of the length for the concrete in tube. The conclusions are help for the design of this type of bridge.
