Abstract:
The complexes of inorganic salts and montmorillonite were studied. Many inorganic salts after mixing with montmorillonite and baking at suitable temperature lower than the melting point of inorganic salts can be spontaneously dispersed through the interlayer and the surface of the montmorillonite. Since the basic structure of montmorillonite is maintained after dispersion of inorganic salts, the montmorillonite laded with inorganic salts can be obtained. It has higher conductivity than the modified montmorillonite under the same condition. They can be applied as a separator in complete solid state cells. The cell capacity and specific energy can reach 14mAh and 70Wh/kg respectively.
