Abstract:

With the rapid development of the new generation smart substations, how to carry out a reasonable assessment and design defect warning for the whole substation before construction is one of the important topics of attention. This paper proposes the software simulation technology for new generation smart substation secondary system. The software simulation technology can simulate the communication behavior of MMS/GOOSE and the universal event response mechanism. The simulation system can achieve the single device simulation verification, the bay operation simulation check and the whole station operation simulation check of the new generation smart substation secondary system. By simulating the action state of the secondary system, the correctness and rationality of the SCD file can be verified, and the reasonableness evaluation and the design defect warning of the substation before construction can be carried out. It greatly simplifies the complexity of the device and system debugging, and improves the efficiency of the integrated debugging of the smart substation automation system. © 2018 IEEE.
