Abstract:

In this paper, a FMCW radar Material level measurement system is described. The structure of the measurement system and the methods of digital signal processing for the system are present. FFT algorithm is used to isolate the various frequency components of difference frequency signal in order to approximately estimate the range of target. Then the Chirp-Z algorithm is employed to process the difference frequency signal in high-accuracy situation. All algorithms are implemented on DSP platform. © 2016 IEEE.
