Abstract:
The aim of this paper is the development of a frequency modulated signal generator and receiver for intrabody communication (IBC) using Programmable System-on-Chip (PSoC) microcontrollers by Cypress. The program is developed in Cypress PSoC Creator and PSoC Designer programs for the CY8C27643 - 24PVXI and CY8C5888LTI - LP097 microcontrollers. Based on the input received from the serial bus, the signal generator synthesizes a FSK signal using digital-to-analog conversion. The signal is transmitted between transmitter and receiver IBC electrodes placed on the human body. The received signal is then demodulated using low pass and band pass filters and a correlator and forwarded back to the computer using the serial bus. © 2016 Croatian Society MIPRO.
