Abstract:
Editing is the art throughout the creation of films, closely related to the feelings of the audience. Appropriate film editing can enhance the emotional expressions, and strengthen the feelings of the audience. Based on the theory of Montage, analyzing a number of classic clip points, this paper classifies fragments of different emotions and conducts the clip-point data processing and comparison. Identifying the relationship between the frequency of the clip points and the emotional expressions in films, this paper provides the data reference for film-video post-editing, and improves the accuracy of emotional expression editing, which can help to improve the emotional content in films. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
