A study on the growth of Yb:YVO4 single crystal - Details

Abstract：

The　growth　of　Yb:YVO4　single　crystal　was　studied　using　Czochraski　method.　During　the　growth　of　crystals,　the　pulling　rate　was　varied　at　1.5　to　2.0　mm/h　and　the　rotation　rate　was　fixed　at　10　rpm.　It　was　shown　that　the　crystal　with　high　optical　qualities　could　be　obtained　from　a　dry　growth　system　with　an　appropriate　temperature　field　and　growth　atmosphere.
