Abstract:

SO42- /TiO2 solid acid was used for photocatalytic degradation of CH3Br, and its photocatalytic activity is 2 ∼ 10 times higher than that of TiO2 under the same reaction conditions. The SO42- /TiO2 sample impregnated with H2SO4 solution (1 mol/L) is of superacidity (H0< -12.14), possessing the highest acid strength and the highest photocatalytic activity for degradation of CH3Br.
