Abstract:

This paper established a virtual prototyping design platform for AC contactor. A dual E-type AC contactor was used as the research object. The dynamic characteristics and thermal characteristics of the contactor were simulated based on the virtual design platform. The accuracy and feasibility of the platform simulation model were verified by experiments. On the basis of this platform, the influences of different sub-magnet ring structure parameters and core structure parameters on electromagnetic attraction and temperature rise of the AC contactor are analyzed. This paper provides an efficient and feasible method for the development and design of AC contactor, and provides a reference for the structural design of the AC contactor. © 2019 IEEE.
