Abstract:

Current closed-loop control technology is introduced into monostable permanent magnet (PM) contactor in this paper. There is current closed-loop control presented in detail,which adjusted coil current in real-time to control the dynamic processes directly. Full-bridge circuit is transformed to realize the controlof the coil. In addition, the simulation model of contactor with control is built. The control circuitry is designed in Multisim and the dynamic model of contactor based on magnetic circuit method is designed in LabVIEW. Connecting LabVIEW and Multisim it realizes co-simulation of dynamic model and control module of contactor. This paper analyzes the principle of control circuit and property of contactor, considering the inductance changing of circuitry and the effect of PM. In conclusion, the control module has many advantages such as compactness, high reliability, Core collision and contact bounce during pick-up and no power consumption. The experiments are performed to verify control module. © 2019 by International Academic Publishers Ltd.
