Abstract:

China's present copper smelting technology and copper slag resources status are introduced and the occurrence of iron in copper slag generated by different smelting methods is analyzed. In view of the characteristics of copper slag, the available copper slag reduction treatment methods are summarized and the related concepts of deep reduction technology are introduced. According to the different types of reductants, three deeply reduction methods for iron recovery from copper slag are mainly described, including gas-based deep reduction, coal-based deep reduction and oil-based deep reduction, and the deep reduction technology and its development prospect are expected. © 2019, China National Chemical Information Center.
