Abstract:
In view of the transfer and bonding problems of Micro-LED displays, proposed is a non-transfer and non-bonding method for high-density Micro-LED displays, which integrates display arrays, metal wiring and driver directly on the sapphire. In addition, a driving system that can realize image data acquisition, processing, image display and display heat dissipation is designed in this paper. Finally, a Micro-LED display with a resolution of 128×128 was successfully fabricated, and the dynamic display of the 16th-order grayscale image was realized. Experimental results show that the proposed method is simple and feasible, and the designed driving system can support the displayer with good heat dissipation. © 2019, Editorial Office of Semiconductor Optoelectronics.
