Abstract:

Quasi-static experiments of prestressed concrete spatial frame joints and RC spatial frame joint are carried out under different axial compressions and uniaxiaL/biaxial cyclic lateral loading. The relationship between force and displacement is obtained with different loading approaches. Through the analyses of failure process, carrying capacity , stiffness , ductility and dissipating energy ,it can be concluded that the coupling effect is obvious under biaxial lateral load , the torsional phenomenon exists in specimens, the degradations of strength and stiffness are more serious and the ability of dissipating energy is reduced.
