Abstract:

The Cellular Automaton model is applied to study the technology diffusion in industrial clusters. A cellular automaton model for technology diffusion in industrial clusters is formulated through equipping "the ability of memory" to cells and considering various influent factors in industrial clusters. Based on this model, the simulation experiments are carried on to find out the relative influence of different factors and to definite the key factors on technology diffusion. © 2008 IEEE.
