Abstract:

In the paper, a new dynamic control scheme is developed, which is uesd to control a steering system for an electric rear independent driving car. The control system consists of a feedforward control subsystem, a feedback control subsystem and a SRC subsystem, which makes the car move along some curve ways safely and reliably. To investigate the control system performance, some simulation work is done based on MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation study shows the control system can make the electric vehicle steer reliably and stably. © 2008 IEEE.
