Abstract:

Heparan sulfate is a typical kind of glycosaminoglycan ( GAG ) , having complex structures and charged with many particular biological activities. This paper elucidates the structures of heparan sulfate and the structure-function relationships, reviews the chief work of structural modification, simulation, as well as biosynthesis and chemical synthesis.
