随着社会经济文化的发展,大量的英语新词汇应运而生.模因论是一种解释文化进化规律的新理论.语言本身就是一种模因,其中的词汇模因是最积极的模因.词缀模因作为词汇模因的一部分,在英语新词构成中发挥了极为重要的作用.将模因论用于对英语新词的构词分析,能为英语新词的形成、复制和传播提供新的研究视角.
