Abstract:

In this paper, the output distribution of each wind farm is combined by the Gumbel Copula function, and the output characteristics of the wind farm group are modeled in order to obtain the output distribution of it in each period. Then, the sequential power curve of the clustered wind farm obtained by Latin hypercube sampling is converted into the sustained output curve of the wind farm. On this basis, a joint optimization model of power transmission capacity and storage power allocation which can reflect comprehensive income of transmission project is constructed by considering the transmission revenue, construction cost of transmission project, storage cost and loss of abandoned wind caused by transmission congestion. The results of case verify that the optimization model proposed in this paper not only reduces the investment cost of transmission engineering, but also improves the comprehensive income of transmission project. © 2017 IEEE.
