Abstract:

Vertically aligned CuO nanowires were wrapped with CNT netwonks to improve the field emission properties. The effects of CuO morphology and CNT coverage on the FE characteristics were investigated. With the CNT-coating, the turn-on field of CuO array cathodes was dropped from 6.6 V/um to below 1.2 V/um. © 2014 ITE and SID.
