Abstract：

In　this　report,　a　novel　luminescent　tube　with　carbon　nanotubes　(CNT)　field　emission　cathode　prepared　on　linear　metal　wires　by　electrophoresis　is　demonstrated.　The　results　show　that　the　linear　cathodes　of　CNT　are　good　emission　sources　and　suitable　for　applications　in　the　vacuum　lighting　devices.　©　2010　SID.
