Abstract:

TiO2/bamboo charcoal composites were prepared by sol-gel technique with tetrabuty tinanate as the titanium source, and 60-mesh bamboo charcoal as the support. The paper studies the photocatalytic degradation ability of Rhodamine B. the results shows that the degradation effect of 3-10mg/L is the best with 0.5-1.1g TiO2 in it. The best pH value is 4.22. The photocatalytic degradation fits in with the first-order kinetic order.
