A　novel　electrochemical　method　to　detect　hepatitis　C　virus　was　developed　based　on　site-specific　cleavage　of　BamHI　endonuclease　and　enzymatic　signal　amplification　with　horseradish　peroxidase-encapsulated　nanogold　hollow　spheres.　©　2011　The　Royal　Society　of　Chemistry.
