Abstract:

High frequency diagnostic technology is an important method for detecting partial discharge of high voltage XLPE cables. However, the traditional high-frequency diagnostic technology cannot accurately separate different types of partial discharge, and its ability of anti-noise is relatively weak. In this paper, a separation technique of partial discharge pulse is proposed based on fuzzy clustering for XLPE cables. The technique is discussed in terms of theoretical analysis, experimental verification and practical measurement. The validity of the technique is verified by the measured data.
