Abstract:

The isobaric VLE data for three binary systems (DHM. +. pinane, DHM. +. DHMOH, pinane. +. DHMOH) and one ternary system (pinane. +. DHM. +. DHMOH) at 6. kPa were measured with a Rose-Williams still. The binary VLE data were correlated with the Wilson and NRTL models. With the obtained model parameters, the ternary (pinane. +. DHM. +. DHMOH) VLE data was predicted and compared with the experimental data and the result shows that the parameters also have a good performance in the prediction of the ternary VLE data. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.
