Abstract：

The　model　of　external-inductor　induction　lamp　is　deduced,　based　on　the　theory　of　transformer.　With　the　model,　its　Electronic　ballast　is　analyzed　in　frequency　domain.　The　electronic　ballast　design　procedure　and　experimental　results　are　given,　which　verify　the　model　and　analysis.　©　2012　IEEE.
