Abstract:
The application of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) in degradation of Rhodamine B in the liquid-phase photoreaction, was analyzed. The structural details of PZT/TiO 2 were investigated using a Tecnai F30 transmission electron microscope (TEM). The high-magnification TEM exhibits many different lattice fringes which allowed for identification of the crystallographic spacings of TiO 2 and PZT. The results show that interaction between PZT and TiO 2 contribute to the strong activity of PZT/TiO 2 in the process of degradation of RhB.
