Abstract:
Various of plant oil pitches which were available from the waste of the distillation factory were used to prepare the high-intensity binders for casting. They were treated by polyester waste and processed by several technics such as esterifying. The test for properties showed the binders could substitute for tung oil binder to affix the class I mold and core. Besides, the treated binders are cheaper because of their rich source and simple technics.
