Abstract:
With the development of biological mass spectrometry (bio-MS), great improvements have been made in proteomics in recent years. However, because biological samples are extremely complex matrices, the pretreatment of complex biological samples is still a critical step. Therefore, development of highly efficient proteomic sample pretreatment techniques to reduce sample complex and process time is a very important topic in proteomics.Recently, functional magnetic nanomaterials have been widely applied in proteomics analysis due to their high surface to volume ratio and ease of magnetic isolation. Our group focused on preparing several kinds of novel biofunctional magnetic nanomaterials to resolve current problems in the separation and enrichment of glycoproteins/glycopeptides and histidine-rich proteins.
