钢丝绳是影响到电梯安全的重要部件，钢丝绳的断丝、断股现象严重影响到电梯的使用寿命，同时影响到电梯的使用安全。如果钢丝绳断股会引起电梯故障，造成停梯，本文探讨电梯钢丝绳的检验和保养的必要性。
