Abstract：
In this paper we study the characteristic exponents of periodic system x＂ +p(t)x＇ + q(t)x = 0. In the case when q(t) ≠ 0 and we obtain someresults which generalize the corresponding results of the autonomous systemx＂ + px＇ + qx = 0.
