Abstract:
Aiming at low output voltage and poor power supply stability in the distributed photovoltaic power generation system, a novel non-isolated dual input high step-up DC/DC boost converter was proposed. A switched-capacitor circuit was introduced on the basis of two Boost converters to achieve high voltage gain in the topology, and two input sources can supply power to the load independently or simultaneously. The circuit structure and working principle of the converter were analyzed. The voltage gain expression of the converter and the voltage stress of the main switching devices were derived, and the relationship between two input currents was also introduced. Finally, a 100 W experimental prototype was built. The experiment results verify that the proposed converter has the advantages of high voltage gain, low voltage stress of the switches, simple control and flexible power supply modes etc. © 2021, Harbin University of Science and Technology Publication.
