Abstract:
ABSTRACT The invention involves a new automatic optimization algorithm for the adjustment factor (f(A) ) of the shadow-eliminated vegetation index (SEVI) based on slide window method. It includes the following steps : window selection, vegetation indices calculation, correlation coefficient calculation, single window optimization, slide window and global (panoramic) optimization. The invention does not need assistance of the digital elevation model (DEM) data, classification of remote sensing image and artificial designated calculation sample area, which improves the automation level of SEVI calculation and avoids the instability from artificial selection. It has important scientific significance and economic value for remote sensing to retrieve the accurate vegetation information in rugged mountainous areas with elimination the interference of the self-shadow and cast-shadow. --/ window size determination< vegetation conrelation indices coefficient calculation<- calculation single window optimization solution window sliding< global (panoramic) optimun solution Figure 1 The schematic diagram of the technical process of the invention
